BUA Ports & Terminals operates at the Port Harcourt Ports, Rivers State since it successfully secured the rights or concession to manage the port via a highly competitive bidding process under the Public Enterprise (Privatization and Commercialization) Act No.28 of 1999. See more

The Group diversified into real estate in recognition of the need for housing as criteria for measuring Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in developing countries like Nigeria. The business has led to the building of several affordable housing estates in Nigeria. See more

Iron & Steel.

Steel is critical to the development of any nation. BUA Group, whose first foray into the Iron & Steel sector was in the early 1990s is looking to further consolidate investments in that sector to support infrastructural development in Nigeria.

BUA Cement

BUA Cement incorporated in 2008 and commenced operations in September 2008.The company owns and operates Nigeria’s first floating cement terminal, the BUA Cement 1, which is designed specifically for bulk and bag unloading for BUA International Limited.

With the acquisition of Sokoto Cement and Edo Cement, BUA has launched itself into full scale local manufacturing of cement. Maintenance work and increasing of more production lines are currently taking place in the two factories. This will make BUA brand more visible in the northern parts and around the middle belt. The ultimate goal is to make cement available and affordable to all.

BUA Ports & Terminals Limited, a subsidiary of BUA International Limited was incorporated and registered in Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 on 28th of March 2006, with registration number RC 649102 as a Private Limited Liability Company.

The company operates at the Port Harcourt Ports, Rivers State since it successfully secured the rights or concession to manage the port via a highly competitive bidding process under the Public Enterprise (Privatization and Commercialization) Act No.28 of 1999.

As Terminal Operators, BUA Ports & Terminals have the mandate to profitably and efficiently manage the four (4) berths in the Terminal. Thus far, this task has been managed creditably well.
